My name is Tony Johnson, owner of Johnson Taxidermy Studio.
Current president of the Kentucky Taxidermy Association.

I live in Campton Ky, (as described below), and I like many of the kind visitors here, Am a hunter. And as a hunter, I'm always looking for the big buck, large mouth, or that gobbler too. When I am working on a clients deer head, fish or whatever the critter may be, I work on this as if it's my own. I only want the best on my wall, and strongly believe that you deserve the same.

Johnson Taxidemry Studio is located in Eastern Ky. Campton Ky. is located just off the Burt T. Combs Mountain Parkway.

I Started doing Taxidermy when I had a deer mounted that looked and smelled terrible. So I Then decided that a trophy should never be returned to a client the way he received his deer. I happen to stumbled up on the Kentucky Taxidermy Association. The first Convention/ Competition that I attended, I actually Received 4 second place ribbons. At the time I just wanted to see if my work was commercial quality. This is when things started to fall together. Soon after that first convention, I got the privalge to be voted in as a board member, and am now serving as President of the Kentucky Taxidermy Association.

Over the past several years, I've competed at State and National levels. I attend many seminars by some of the best Taxidermists in the World. I compete in these competitions a couple times a year to further educate myself, so you, the client, benefits with your high quality mount.

You can take that Trophy to any Taxidermist.

For peace of mind, please note, I use the best materials and the latest techniques, to ensure the client receives a high quality mount. I do all of my tanning of hides the studio.
